Middletown, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg used a first half hat trick by Kristen Stark to power to a 6-1 victory over Lycoming. Penn State Harrisburg built a 4-1 first half lead thanks to a Raquel Grice goal and maintained the control of play in the second half. The Lions would see Haley Vavrek and Grice net a goal each to close out the game.

How it Happened:
It did not take long for the Lions offense to get going when Kristen Stark found the back of the net in the 19th minute. Raquel Grice would extend the lead minutes later, on a ball driven across the goal into the back of the net. Stark would break free moments later and beat the goalie for a 3-0 lead. Stark then found the back of the net one more time for the first half hat trick. The Lions conceded their only goal right before the half, making the score 4-1. Hayle Vavrek and Grice each scored goals in the second half, while the Lions controlled play leading to the 6-1 victory.
