The two teams battled to a draw through regulation. Harrisburg held a slight advantage in shots, and had prevented the Quakers from scoring off several set pieces. Kayla Arnold recorded three key saves to keep the game scoreless. The offense had two goals called back early in the contest, but continued creating scoring chances. For the second time in three games, the Lions went to overtime. After a great shot by Eliza Grim from outside eighteen was, deflect by the Quaker's Goalkeeper, Freshman Leah Brown drove in the game winning goal. This was also Brown's first career goal.

Head Coach Adam Clay said afterward, "Despite having two goals called back and being forced to win the game in OT, the girls kept the ball extremely well and created plenty of dangerous scoring chances. I am so proud of how they responded after our first loss of the season. It showed our team character and gets me excited about the possibilities this season."
Penn State Harrisburg will return home on Wednesday September 13 against the Clarks Summit at 4:00 PM
