February 29, 2016 Penn State Harrisburg's Kiara Carter Honored As Second-Team All Conference Pick Middletown, Pa.- Penn State Harrisburg Senior center Kiara Carter was honored as a second –team all conference pick for her hard work and play throughout the 2015-2016 women’s basketball season.
February 20, 2016 Harrisburg Falls to Mary Washington in Final Game Middletown, Pa.- This afternoon the Penn State Harrisburg women’s basketball team hosted Mary Washington in their final regular season game. The Lady Lions stayed strong throughout the first half but struggled to get points on the board in the second half. Mary Washington went on to win 67-49.
February 17, 2016 Lion's Fourth Quarter Surge Brings Home the Win Dover, DE- Wednesday February 17th, tonight the Penn State Harrisburg women’s basketball team took on Wesley in the start to their last week of the regular season. Both teams battled back and forth throughout the first three quarters. The Lions found their momentum in the last three minutes of the game by scoring 15 points and going on to win 69-57.
February 13, 2016 St. Mary's Slips Past the Lions St. Mary’s, Md.- Saturday February 13th, today the Penn State Harrisburg women’s basketball team hit the road to take on St. Mary’s. The Lady Lions led at the end of the first quarter and both teams battled for the remainder of the game to keep the lead. Harrisburg fell in the final minute, 64-59.
February 10, 2016 Lady Lions Come Up Short Against the Saints Middletown, Pa.- Wednesday February 10th, this evening the Penn State Harrisburg women’s basketball team took on Marymount (Va.), the top team in the conference. The Lions stayed strong throughout the first half before the Saints began to pull away in the second. Marymount went on to win, 68-50.

Athletes Of The Week

Cameron Yon - Men's Track and FieldYon took home his first individual CAC Outdoor Championship this past weekend as he won the men's discus throw. he threw a little over 163 feet (49.69 Meters) to take home first place as well as qualifying him for the ECAC Outdoor Championships held on May 18th and 19th. Yon will be in action again this week when he travels to compete in the Penn Relay's with teams from around the country.
Ashley Williams - Women's Track and FieldWilliams claimed her 2nd individual CAC title this past weekend as she won the 100 meter hurdles running the event in a time of 14.39 seconds. Williams will look towards the ECAC Outdoor Championships to lower her time to qualify for the NCAA Championships in late March.
