December 30, 2016 Penn State Harrisburg Falls Short Against Centenary Hackettstwon, NJ: Junior Alexis Nolan finished with 12 points and three rebounds as the Penn State Harrisburg women’s basketball team finished out 2016 with a 68-56 loss to Centenary University. The Lion’s dominated both offensively and defensively in the first two quarters but struggled to hold on to their early lead in the second half.
December 19, 2016 Lions Fourth Quarter Comeback Stopped Short Doylestown, Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg Lady Lions hoped to get back on winning track when they traveled to battle Delaware Valley on Monday January 19th. Despite taking a 7-0 lead to start the game, the Aggies rammed their way back on top on route to a 65-56 win.
December 10, 2016 Lion's Fall on the Road to St. Mary's (Md.) St. Mary’s, Md.- The Penn State Harrisburg women’s basketball team played a close match with the St. Mary’s Seahawks on Saturday December 10th. The Lion’s struggled in the first half to find their stride but came out in the second half and dominated 40-28. Unfortunately, the home team’s first half lead proved to be too much for Harrisburg as they fell 68-59.
December 7, 2016 Women's Basketball Loses at Frostburg 79-63 Frostburg, Md.- The Penn State Harrisburg women’s basketball team fell on the road this afternoon to Frostburg State in a very evenly matched conference game. The Lion’s started off with a strong first and third quarter but their effort was not enough to take down the Bobcats. The women fell 79-63 for their third conference game of the year.
December 3, 2016 Women's Basketball Falls to Salisbury Middletown, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg women’s basketball team hosted Salisbury on Saturday December 3rd for their second conference match up of the year. The Lion’s dominated the first quarter but struggled in the second half to find the basket. Harrisburg fell 72-39 to the Sea Gulls.

Gbolahan Alliyu - Men's BasketballGbolahan Alliyu went off against Wesley on the road last Wednesday, earning his first double-double of the season with 10 rebounds and 12 blocks, the latter of which tied a CAC record for blocks in a game by an individual. The career games helped lead the Lions over the Wolverines, 73-70, for their third conference win of the season and sixth overall.
Tessa Dolce - Women's BasketballTessa Dolce put up her second double-double of the season last Wednesday against Wesley, scoring 12 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in 21 minutes of play. Dolce followed that performance with a 5-for-5 shooting afternoon, dropping 10 points and scooping another 8 rebounds in a loss to a very tough Christopher Newport team this past Saturday.
