How It Happened:
The Lions got off to a strong start with Shanique Mattis knocking down a three-pointer on the Lions opening possession. Mattis would score Harrisburg's first six points, but the Spartans would have answer building an early 6-point lead. Tessa Dolce and Mattis would hit lay ups late in the quarter to pull the Lions within four points. Mattis would open the second quarter to pull within two points, but the Lions could get no closer. The Spartans would build an advantage as large as eleven midway through the second quarter. Harrisburg would rally behind a three-point basket from Briana Davis and a couple of lay ups from Jada Pettis to trail by 7 only at the half. The Spartans used strong second half runs to pull away for the Lions, preventing any chance at a further rally.
