Penn State Harrisburg’s men’s golf team was in action for the third day in a row on Monday afternoon, Oct. 14, this time taking part in the F&M Invitational hosted by Franklin & Marshall at the Bent Creek Country Club.
Penn State Harrisburg wrapped up three consecutive days of competition by taking part in a preview of this year’s North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championship event at the Williamsport Country Club on Monday afternoon, Sept. 23.

Penn State Harrisburg’s men’s golf team continued its solid start to the 2019-20 campaign by posting a 10th-place finish out of 20 competing programs at the Frederick W. Anton III Memorial Invitational hosted by Swarthmore at the Rock Manor Golf Club on Sunday afternoon.
Penn State Harrisburg’s men’s golf team opened its 2019-20 campaign at the two-day Spartan Invitational hosted by York (Pa.) and wrapped up its weekend of competition at Royal Manchester Golf Links on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 8.
Penn State Harrisburg held its 2019 Student-Athlete Award Ceremony on Sunday evening, April 28 at the Mukund S. Kulkarni Theatre in the Student Enrichment Center, awarding year-end accolades, team MVP honors and scholar-athlete award recognition as part of the celebration of the College’s athletic achievement from the 2018-19 season.
The Penn State Harrisburg golf team traveled to The Golden Horseshoe Golf Course to take part in the Capital Athletic Conference Men’s Golf Championship. As a team the Lions finished 6th of 7 teams with a three day total of 1047 (+195). The Blue & White were led by Luke Ehler who finished tied for 23rd place with a score of 255 (+42).
Penn State Harrisburg had a strong performance at the Rosemont Ravens Invitational held at the Downingtown Country Club over the weekend. In the Lions' final tune up before the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Tournament, the team finished 12th of 18 teams with a two-day score of 653 (+77).
The Penn State Harrisburg Golf traveled to Susquehanna Valley Country Club taking part in the Susquehanna Spring Invitational. The Lions finished 9th of 11 teams with a two day score of 692 (+132) on the par 70 course. The Blue & White’s top finisher was Luke Ehler, who shot a 78 (+8) on Sunday to finish 29th overall.
The Penn State Harrisburg Golf traveled to the LedgeRock Golf Club for the Alvernia Spring Invitational hosted by Alvernia University. The Lions would finish seventh as a team shooting a 337 (+49). The Blue & White were led by Luke Ehler and Josh Swartz who each posted an 82 (+10) which was good enough for a tie for 14th place.
The Penn State Harrisburg Golf team opened its spring campaign by taking part in the McDaniel Spring Invitational hosted by McDaniel College at the Bridges Golf Club. The Lions placed 17th of 18 teams, posting a team score of 710 (+134) during the two day tournament. The Lions top finisher was Joshua Loren Africa who posted a two day total of 172 (+28) placing him in a tie for 68th.
Penn State Harrisburg’s men’s golf team wrapped up the fall portion of its 2018-19 campaign with one of its better efforts of the season, finishing sixth out of 12 competing programs at Lebanon Valley’s Dutchmen Invitational on Monday, Oct. 22.
Penn State Harrisburg men’s golf was in action at the Franklin & Marshall Fall Invitational at Bent Creek Country Club on Monday afternoon, Oct. 15. The Lions finished 14th out of 17 competing teams with a total score of 337 (+53).
Cape Charles, VA- Penn State Harrisburg Men’s Golf team took seventh at the Capital Area Conference Championship held at the Bay Creek Resort. The 6734 yard course challenged all of the players throughout the three day event. Keith Miller was the Lions top finisher, placing 21st with a score of 259 (+43).
Harrisburg, Pa- Due to winter weather, Penn State Harrisburg Athletics has several changes to its springs sports schedule. Baseball has canceled its game at York College and Saturdays games with Frostburg State. Make ups are still to be determined. The Softball team has canceled its home double header for today March 22nd against Franklin & Marshall. A make up date is yet to be determined. Softball has also moved its home doubleheader against Wilson College from Saturday March 24th to Thursday March 29th. The Men's Golf Invitational at McDaniel College on March 24th and 25th has been canceled. Our Men's and Women's Tennis matches schedule for today March 22nd at Lancaster Bible are moved to Monday March 26th at 3pm. Please continue to check back for more updates on the schedule changes.
Stafford, Va- Penn State Harrisburg Men's Golf team finished 13th at the UMW Eagles Invitational at the Augstine Golf Club. The Lions were lead by Keith Miller who finished the tournament with a score of +24, which was good enough for 38th. The Lions will next be in action when they compete in the McDaniel Spring Invitational at the The Bridges Golf Club.
Harrisburg, Pa - Penn State Harrisburg wants to recognize its outstanding Student-Athletes who are excelling in the class room and on the field. This fall across all 17 of the Intercollegiate Teams, 68 Student-Athletes earned a 3.5 GPA or higher, placing them on the Fall Deans List. Congratulation to the following Student-Athletes:
Middletown, Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg men’s golf team has one of their all-time best golfers taking the head coaching reigns in the Spring of 2018. Tyler Shank, a former Penn State Harrisburg four year starter, has been named the head men’s and women’s interim golf coach. Shank was the assistant coach during the Fall season.
Abbsttown, Pa- Penn State Harrisburg's men's golf team finished 16th at the Mason-Dixon Collegiate Classic at the Bridges Golf Club. The two day tournament challenged all of the players with Senior Keith Miller leading the way for the Lions, posting a score of 155 (+11). That was good enough to finsh tied for 20th place.
Harrisburg, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg placed 13th of 16 in its own Penn State Harrisburg Invitational two day tournament. The Lions posted a team score of 648, posting scores of 324 on both days of competition. Senior Keith Miller led the way for the Lions shooting a 152 (+10) which was good enough for a tie for 15th place. Chanont Permon also has an impressive showing with a score of 155 (+13) which was good enough for a tie for 23rd
Cape Charles, VA- Chanont Premont finishes tied for 11th by posting a two day score of 156 (+12) to help Penn State Harrisburg to a fifth place finishes at the Bay Creek Invitational Tournament. As a team the Lions posted a score of 663.
Penn State Harrisburg senior Tyler Shank closed out his career with his fourth-straight All-CAC honor as a second-team recipient. Shank was also a second-teamer in 2016 after earning first-team honors in 2015 and 2014 along with Rookie of the Year honors his freshman season.
Cape Charles, Va. – The Penn State Harrisburg men’s golf team spent the Easter weekend at the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Golf Championship hosted by the Christopher Newport Captains. Tyler Shank led the Lions, finishing tied for 9th place overall and earning second team all-conference honors.
The Penn State Harrisburg men's golf team is ready for the biggest tournament so far this season. Since joining the CAC, the Lions have had two second place finishes and last year finished third. Harrisburg hopes the experienced gained over the past few season and senior leadership from Tyler Shank and Matt Hoare will make the difference in 2017.
