The Lion’s beat New Rochelle yesterday afternoon in the first round. Today, Khalil White led the Blue and White with 33 points as the Lion’s went on to win 74-68.
November 19, 2016 Penn State Harrisburg Shuts Down New Rochelle for First Round of Tip-Off Tournament Middletown, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg men’s basketball team fashioned an impressive come-from-behind victory on Saturday afternoon as they hosted New Rochelle for the Penn State Harrisburg Tip-Off Tournament. The Lion’s edged New Rochelle 76-72 in the opening round of the tournament.
November 15, 2016 Penn State Harrisburg Starts Off Season Strong Middletown, Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg men’s basketball team started their season strong facing off with the Haverford University Fords. Despite being in the lead for the majority of the contest, the visitors hung tough throughout, but eventually fell to the more dominate Lions 62-56.
November 12, 2016 2016-17 MEN'S BASKETBALL PRESEASON POLL & VIDEO Christopher Newport was selected as the unanimous preseason favorite to repeat as champions in the CAC Men's Basketball Preseason Poll, voted on by the head coaches around the conference. CNU received nine first-place votes and totaled 81 points to land atop the poll.

June 28, 2016 Penn State Harrisburg Announces 2015-2016 CAC All-Academic Team Middletown, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg is pleased to announce the 2015-2016 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) All-Academic Team. The Lion athletic teams had 89 men and women earn the honor to be on the All-Academic team this year. To make the team, athletes must receive a 3.2 GPA over the course of the entire year.

Derek Coleman - Men's BasketballThe Penn State Harrisburg men's basketball team hosted non-conference opponent Susquehanna on Sunday November 27th. The Lion's Derek Coleman had a great game off the bench leading the team with 12 points going 5-7 from the field and 2-3 from three point range. Harrisburg lost their first game of the year to the #25 ranked Susquehanna.
Tessa Dolce - Women's BasketballThe Penn State Harrisburg Lady Lions struggled to find their offensive rhythm against an Eastern Mennonite University team that was in press mode throughout a large portion of the game. The Lions Tessa Dolce was one player who couldn't be stopped as she led Harrisburg with 11 points and seven rebounds in the hard fought 68-44 loss.
