June 28, 2016 Penn State Harrisburg Announces 2015-2016 CAC All-Academic Team Middletown, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg is pleased to announce the 2015-2016 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) All-Academic Team. The Lion athletic teams had 89 men and women earn the honor to be on the All-Academic team this year. To make the team, athletes must receive a 3.2 GPA over the course of the entire year.

Ashley Williams - Women's Track & FieldSophomore Ashley Williams was honored as the CAC Track Athlete of the Week after recording the eighth-best time in the nation in the 60-meter hurdles at the Bison Open at Bucknell. Williams finished third in the event and tops among Division III competitors with a time of 9.06 seconds. Her time ranks atop the CAC this season.
Derrick Young - Men's Track & FieldSophomore Derrick Young placed first overall in the men's 60-meter dash with an impressive time of 7.24 seconds. Young also placed first in the men's long jump with a distance of 6.47 meters and tied for eighth in the men's high jump. Young posted a second place finish in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.86 seconds and a fourth place finish in the men's heptathlon at Bison Open & Multi.
