April 19, 2016 Penn State Harrisburg Takes Down #1 Frostburg State Frostburg, Md.- After clinching their first-ever Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) playoff spot this weekend with a win over #11 Salisbury, the Penn State Harrisburg baseball team traveled to the #1 seeded Frostburg State this afternoon to take on the Bobcats. The Lion’s dominated Frostburg, scoring 9 straight runs in just two innings. Harrisburg went on to beat the Bobcats, 14-0.
April 18, 2016 Baseball Clinches First Ever CAC Playoff Berth Middletown, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg baseball team clinched a playoff spot as the #6 seed this weekend with their win against #11 Salisbury. With the win against Salisbury, the Lion’s clinched their first-ever CAC postseason bid. Harrisburg’s win also bumped the Seagulls down to the number 3 spot for playoffs.
April 17, 2016 Harrisburg Comes Up Short to the Dutchmen Middletown, Pa.- After a big win against #11 Salisbury yesterday afternoon, the Penn State Harrisburg baseball team looked to get their second win of the weekend against the visiting Lebanon Valley Dutchmen. The Lion?s struggled offensively, falling 8-3, to the visitors.
April 16, 2016 Penn State Harrisburg Grabs Final Conference Win Salisbury, Md.- The Penn State Harrisburg baseball team traveled to Salisbury on Saturday April 16th for their last conference matchup of the 2016 season. The Lion’s dominated the first game, winning 15-13, but fell in the second, 15-8.
April 14, 2016 Artley Leads Harrisburg Past the Captains Middletown, Pa.- After a much needed win against York (Pa.) on Wednesday, the Penn State Harrisburg baseball team looked to grab their second win of the week against Christopher Newport. The Lion’s split with the visitors, dropping the first 4-2, and winning the second 3-0.
April 13, 2016 Lion's Win Slugfest Against York (Pa.) York, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg baseball team got back on the winning side of the ledger with a big win against York (Pa.) on Wednesday April 13th. The Lion’s jumped out to an early 8-0 lead after the first inning and held on to win 13-7.

Athletes Of The Week

Cameron Yon - Men's Track and FieldYon took home his first individual CAC Outdoor Championship this past weekend as he won the men's discus throw. he threw a little over 163 feet (49.69 Meters) to take home first place as well as qualifying him for the ECAC Outdoor Championships held on May 18th and 19th. Yon will be in action again this week when he travels to compete in the Penn Relay's with teams from around the country.
Ashley Williams - Women's Track and FieldWilliams claimed her 2nd individual CAC title this past weekend as she won the 100 meter hurdles running the event in a time of 14.39 seconds. Williams will look towards the ECAC Outdoor Championships to lower her time to qualify for the NCAA Championships in late March.
