CBN 2021 DIVISION III PRESEASON RANKINGS
TUCSON, Ariz. – Penn State Harrisburg is ranked No. 27 in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper's 2021 Preseason NCAA Division III Poll. This is the second year in a row the program has earned a preseason national ranking from the publication.
The Blue & White earned 213 total points in the ranks, good enough to secure a spot in the publication's annual preseason top-40 poll for the second consecutive season. The Lions saw their 2020 campaign cut short due to COVID-19 after opening the spring with seven victories and playing an early-season schedule that included other nationally-ranked opponents including Randolph-Macon, Johns Hopkins, and Franklin & Marshall.
In 2019, Penn State Harrisburg earned the program's second berth in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament after posting its second consecutive 30-plus win season and advancing to the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Championship Series for the second straight year.
